Estimation of environmental conditions of arable fields in the lagging of Roztocze National Park with Ellenberg's phytoindication method

The aim of the study is estimation of environmental conditions of arable fields in the lagging of Roztocze National Park with Ellenberg's phytoindication method. In botanical survey 240 phytosociological photos were taken in cereal crops in 1995-99 in lagging of the Park, using (after Ellenberg) - Braun-Blanquet method. Mean indicators were calculated for each photo: T (thermal), W (humidity), N (nitrogen content), R (soil reaction) and G (biological activity). Basing on the phytosociological photos taken on the given kind of soil mean values of mean values were calculated - for: T, W, R, N and G. The lowest value of indicators were found for sandy soils, the highest for limestone soils
