Economic efficiency of willow cultivation

In paper there was presented economic conditions of renewable energy produced from biomass, in a context of sustainable development. The main goal of investigation was to determine the profitability of willow growing, which is the most known energy crop in Poland. Four variants of cultivation there were taken into account: mechanical harvesting every 3 years, mechanical harvesting every year, hard harvesting every year. Research based on future cash streams discounted, was made in accordance with agronomical assumption and investment costs. Carried out analysis reveals, that in present price relation cultivation with use human labour is more profitable
