The influence of sowing term on yield and some quality parameters of buckwheat nuts

The experiment on the influence of sowing times on buckwheat yields and some quality parameters parameters of dehulled buckwheat nuts and their hulls (crude protein, flavonoids: rutin, orientin, isoorientin, vitexin, isovitexin) was conducted in 2004-05. The split-block method with two factors was applied (factor I-three sowing times: 1-at beginning of May, 2-at beginning of June, 3-at beginning of July, factor II-two buckwheat varieties: Luba and Panda). Yields of both buckwheat varieties to the different sowing times were similar. Delaying in sowing time caused the significant decrease in yields of both varieties. The highest seed yields were obtained after the earliest sowing time
