Kravtsova, L.L.
The integrated biomorphological and biochemical study of Panzerina lanata (L.) Sojak subsp. Argyracea (Kuprian.) Rrestovsk PL carried out for the first time in Khakassia allowed getting new data on the properties of developing and distinguish cenopopulations with high productivity and content of biologically active substances. In the steppe communities of Khakassia the cenopopulations of PL have high degree of heterogeneity of morphological features. 4 periods and 10 age states were distinguished in ontogenesis. The studied cenopopulations are normal, most of them relates to young ones. The age spectra of cenopopulations are twinconeal with maximum on pregenerative individuals. For introduction so called Montenegrin cenopopulations from the Ust-Abakan district is recognized to be the most promising. The study of flowering biology has shown that in the crop PL a long blooming species with daytime anthesis. Phenorythmotype is summer green with winter dormancy. Under introduction the seed production increases 2-3 times. In laboratory conditions the most germination ability was reached at varying temperature of 20-30 degrees C, and field germination ability – at sow on 20 July and 10 July. The condition of high germination ability was also storing the seeds during the year. The greatest content of flavonoids was detected in the same period. In the conditions of crop the concentration of these substances decreases. In wet years the crop yield increases compared to dry years. Some technologies of growing PL in the steppe zone of Khakassia are developed. Plantations should be placed in light lots. The plant is undemanding to soils. Preplanting cultivation, soil smoothing and compacting are needed. The wide-row method is used to sow (spacing width is 60 cm). The optimum time of sowing is since 10 till 30 May. The sowing rate is 1.3-1.6 kg of viable seeds per 1 ha.
