The basis for landscaping and the main landscape building factors by the example of Yaroslavskij region is given in the monograph .Such notions as: landscape, balance and transformation of landscapes, interrelations between the landscape components are revealed. The landscape factors: relief, soils and their fertility, biological characteristics of meadow grass, the influence of production activities of human beings are described in details. The matters of landscape productivity are examined, the landscape classification is given, the calculation of potential and really possible grass yield of landscapes are presented. A particular chapter is dedicated to the efficient landscape use; the characteristics of the 13 landscape types according to their location on the given relief, soils, climate, grass composition are described, the measures on their efficient use are elaborated. The activities on the protection of grass flora , the species of which are registered in the Yaroslavskij Red Book are presented. The book is intended for students of high institutions, scientific workers and agricultural specialists.
