Erwinia amylovora was registered on two ornamental plants - Chaenomeles japonica and Cotoneaster horizontalis for the first time in Serbia in 2000. Both species were grown nearlby of the apple orchards in which fireblight severity was epiphytotic because of high temperatures during flowering period of apple.
