Because the Republic of Serbia is mostly agrarian country in which rural areas are dominant, and also considering all problems in the past two decades, and present transitional process in all parts of economy, path toward EU integrations must define in advance, structural changes in national agricultural and rural areas development. Considerations are presented on the example of Mali Zvornik and Glogonj settlements in the scope of socio-economic development strategies, which were created by the Institute of Agricultural Economics in Belgrade, Serbia, during the period 2006-2007.
