This article describes the occurrence of parasites in fallow deer from two hunting enclosures. There were 9 species of parasites identified in the gastrointestinal tracts and livers of the deer from an enclosure in Lower Carniola (Dolenjska region), the most common species being Oesophagostomum radiatum, followed by Spiculopteragia asymmetrica, Oesophagostomum venulosum and Eimeria sp. There were also 16 species identified in an enclosure in Upper Carniola (Gorenjska region), the most common species being Fasciola hepatica, which appears to be a reflection of the living conditions. It was followed by Spiculopteragia asymmetrica, Ostertagia leptospicularis, Capillaria bovis and other species.
