The soil is one of the basic components of the environment that helps to create conditions for the lives of plant and animal organisms. Determinations of inorganic anions present in soil are routinely performed in laboratories involved in environmental control. Of these anions, sulphate and nitrate are currently determined in soil. At present mostly different analytical methods are used for this purpose. In some instances better results can be achieved using the electrophoretic separation techniques. In our work are presented the analysis of in soils samples with separation method -- isotachophoresis. The use of isotachophoresis has grown very rapidly during the last few years in various application areas. This analytical method is instrumentally simple, with short analysis time, with small sample requirements and ease of quantification. Our results serve as an illustration of possibilities capillary isotachophoresis in environmental control.
