Slovak White Geese is oldest national Slovak poultry breed. This breed is result of breeding regional geese breed with Hungary and Germany breeds of geese. Slovak White Geese is noted for laying from 12 to 14 eggs in first cycle of lay, good growing ability and feathering quality. In year 2004 was recognised 17 controlled breeds which situated in West Slovakia and North-West Slovakia In these controlled breeds is tabled to breeding process 24 males and 53 females. Suchovska Geese is the youngest Slovak national poultry breed with a good growing ability with lay from 14 to 16 eggs. This breed was created from regional geese breed with Toulouse, Landese, Steinbacher, Pommeranian breeds geese in end of 80s years of 20 century in village Sucha nad Parnou by Pavol Ilavsky. Suchovska geese was recognised in 1995 year to Poultry Show in Nitra. We observed that in this year were recognised 28 controlled breeds which situated equally in all area of Slovakia. In these controlled breeds is tabled to breeding process 31 males and 78 females.
