The aim of presented work was to evaluate the possibility of no conventional methods of endoparasitic diseases treatment of horses by using homeopathic preparation PVB-etat vermineux and to compare its efficiency and time action effect with commonly used preparation Ivomec. Two groups of six mares and their foals - totally twenty-four horses - from Napajedla stud-farm (Zlin region, Czech Republic) were enlisted for the observation. First two coprological analyses of feces were conducted for determination of initial value of parasitic loading of the breed in which was done area dehelmintisation using various anthelmintics every two months. Then were created two groups: experimental group was treated by polycomposite preparation PVB-etat vermineux guttae (fy Boiron). Per oral application by syringe was carried out once a day during eight consecutive days control group was dehelminted by common method using Ivomec (fy Merial) at the same time, when finished usage of homeopathic in the experimental group. Dehelmintisation in the breed and during experiment was done in the area in two- month intervals. The samples of feces from observed animal were collected for coprological analysis closely before the start of application of homeopathic preparation and post evaluation around fourteen days after finishing the application of all drugs. Diagnosis of eggs elimination was done by Brezas flotation method [1]. The five-point scale for the evaluation of the infection intensity was used. 0 negative ± up to one egg, + two to five eggs, ++ six to ten eggs, +++ more than ten eggs. Statistical significance of differences between obtained results from both groups were compared by Mann-Whittney test. On the basis of obtained results of coprological analysis of faeces of mare and their foals, it can be stated that antihelmintical efficiency of Ivomec and homeopathic preparation PVB-etat vermineux are comparable from the point of wide spectrum and time of action to the Strongylidae, Trichonematidae. Ivomec has a better effect on the Parascaris equorum. To use both preparations seems to be the most suitable way of therapy. From the point of stress between organism and the environment by residues and from the economical cost of tratment is usage of homeopatics more favourable.
