The effect of forecrop and nitregen fertilization intensity on winter wheat grain yield and its structure

The yield of winter wheat grain was influenced by weather condition, fertilization and forecrop. The highest influence of weather on winter wheat grain yield has been noted. The weather concurrently modified the influence of fertilization and forecrops. The effect of nitrogen fertilization (divided doses three times per year) was increasing with combination of farm yard manure. The highest effect of nitrogen fertilization was attained in crop rotation with application of farmyard manure. No differences between evaluated leguminous (alfalfa, common pea) forecrop on winter wheat grain yield have been ascertain. The 8% increasing of grain yield of win-er wheat after leguminous forecrop with comparison to spring barley has been noted. The forecrop value of alfalfa was equal to spring barley under farm yard manure fertilization. Number of spikes per unit area was influenced by wheatear, fertilization and forecrop. TKW (thousand kernel weight) was significantly influenced predominantly by weather and less by forecrop. The TKW has not been influenced by fertilization. Only tendency of increasing of TKW after straw incorporation was noted (non-significant influence). The highest number of kernel per square meter was after common pea forecrop (21,881), and less after spring barley forecrop (19,667). The year variability of number of kernel was 200%.
