Production and economic results of the sheep management are analysed in the paper namely from eleven selected enterprises (inter alias according to production conditions) in 2002-2004. At average, 1056 sheep were reared in enterprises. We evaluated a level and development of reached results. The yield of sheep reasonably oscillated. The fertility of ewes was favourable; at average it reached 124%. We discovered some reserves in the volume of sale (realization) of slaughter lambs and sheep cheese eventually sheep milk. The average level of stagnated sales per structural ewe was 2869 SKK. Slaughter lambs, cheese, breeding and rearing sheep belonged in main market products. Costs per structural ewe were decreased by 3.9% and the average value was 5 636 SKK. Since May 2004, the support has been provided according to EU principles. The profit per structural ewe (an aliquot part was included in favour of the sheep management) reached 722 SKK and the costs profitability 12.8%. The sheep breeding farming in less favourable natural conditions remarked the 118.1 % fertility, i.e. less by 12.5% in comparison with more favourable conditions. In the group belonging in less favourable areas the share of sales from milk production reached 50%, costs per structural ewe were higher by 13.6% (5 979 SKK) and costs profitability was by 13.8% lower. In the group belonging in more favourable area the sales were higher, the share of milk production was 29.7% and costs profitability reached 20.6%.
