The contribution is aimed at the economic situation of agriculture from the side of its involvement in the national economics in crucial macro-economic indicators - gross domestic product, intermediate consumption, fixed assets, gross value added, employment and an average wage. It analyses economic effectiveness of agricultural enterprises from the sight of legal forms - agricultural co-operatives, trade companies, self-employment farmers and also groups of enterprises that are differentiated according to the profit/loss and agricultural land in 2000-2005. Through statistical indicators it studies interdependence of profit/loss and subsidies in individual groups of enterprises. It was used also the knowledge analytical and index method and the method of interval dividing of multiplicity of enterprises.
