[Potato yield and quality at different fertilizing systems in a ctop rotation]

The given results of six-year experiments are obtained in a stationary field experiment as regards to studying the effect of a mineral fertilizing system and two biological ones, first, on the basis of manure and, the second, on the basis of leys in a crop rotation, on productivity and quality of potato, an energy and economic effectiveness of its growing. The results of the study showed that on average for six years of the experiments the highest crop yield, 183 centners/ha was obtained while applying 40 tonnes of manure/ha plus straw of the spring barley as a preceeding crop. Such a crop yield exceeded the one obtained, while applying mineral fertilizers, by 108 centners per ha. The quality of potato tubers was 72-81%. The highest quality was ensured by the biologial fertilizing system and less by the mineral one.In addition, the former system brought to higher stach yield per ha and the best economic effectiveness.
