Comparative investigation of commercial kits for diagnostics of some viral diseases of fish

Comparative investigation have been carried out with standard kits up to assess and identify fish pathogenic viruses. It was found that the used commercial kits based on indirect immunofluorescent test (IFT) have lower specificity sensibility by detection of VHSV and IPNV. The kits do not give possibility for differentiation of the serotypes IPNV-Sp and IPNV-Ab, which are characterized with different pathogenicity.By analogical way the SVC kits do not allow differentiation of the SVCV and PFRV. The standard diagnostic ELISA and IPT kits are sensible, easy feasible and can be used for rapid diagnostics of different viral diseases of fish, that do not turn out the possibility for their elaboration.
