Shock shattering indices of the non-burst sesame capsules of genotypes Sadovo 3959, Sadovo 4075 (Irina) and Sadovo 4056 (Victoria), cropped 2006 and 2007 years have been investigated in laboratory conditions on a stand, which consists of a pendulum apparatus and an electronic data acquisition system. The best results for the obtained seeds as well as for the consumed shattering energy are received at the following conditions: the capsule moisture content of 8,2 %; the shock, which is perpendicular to the capsule width; the shock impulse in the interval 0,45?0,65 kg.m/s and the striker width more than 5 mm. The grain harvester threshing units do not create a suitable effect for threshing out sesame none-burst capsules, which enforce the adaptation of the existing or the development of new units.
