In this article the damages caused by diseases and pests and disadvantages of conventional plant protection are interpreted. Possibilities to improve diseases and pest control of fruit-groing are discussed. Alternative of conventional fruit production – integrated production system and biological production system are presented. Finally, contemporary management strategies in plant protection of fruit-growing are shown.
