[Prospects of development of the food-processing industry and creation of new kinds of food]

In Belarus the raw-material base in food-processing industry is well enough developed. All kinds of grain and vegetable cultures, potato, sugar beet, string bean, onions, green peas, fruits and berries are grown up. There are enough forages for conducting of dairy and meat cattle breeding. For full and qualitative processing of food raw materials are created, new manufactures and old ones are reconstructed. In Belarus Scientific and Practical Center for Foodstuffs ozono-air (water) mix is developed as the food technology of disinfecting of nutrient mediums and the remote industrial equipment. The folowing steps are required from domestic founders and food manufacturers: to raise qualification of shots on places; to provide introduction of the newest, scientifically proved technologies without waste; to make only the competitive goods; to create conditions for raw materials and finished goods storage; to provide economic efficiency and high profitability of industrial activity; to improve on the co-operative beginnings processing system. For increase of an overall performance of the existing enterprises the experts of the Food Center recommend: to fulfil the know-how of canned food from corn and to deduce on a designed capacity; to use available capacities on sauces and ketchups production; manufacturers of canned food from tomatoes, making use of world experience, have to place orders at factories of the southern CIS countries and the far abroad under the trade marks; to accelerate building of factories and shops on processing of rape seeds; to open shop with a full cycle refining of vegetable oil (in number of 140 t/days); to create new manufactures on processing of dairy whey and spirit bards
