[Estimation of the breeding material of winter garlic under conditions of Belarus]

In the article results of an estimation of clones of winter garlic used in breeding process are reflected. Research were spent in 2005 - 2007 in the Institute of Vegetable Growing. As a result of research high winter hardness at clones is established: 0706 (98%); 0705, 0703, 0608 and grade Vitazenets (97%); 0704, 0709 and a grade the Bogatyr (96%). The maximum productivity (12,7 t/hectares) is noted at clone 0706. More than 10 t/hectares are allocated with high productivity of 4 clones: 0706 (11,5 t/hectares), 0709 (10,8 t/hectares), 0705 (10,0 t/hectares), grade the Bogatyr (10,6 t/hectares). It is established, that clones with the smaller area of leaves can have productivity more than clones with the big leaf surface. By results of test of clones throughout a number of years the sample 0608 is perspective
