Possibilities of the organization of the assembly line production of cowpea (Vigna sinensis) by means of the step-sowing and transplanting on sod-podzolic light loamy silt soils were analyzed in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus by the example of 30 varieties of different ripening groups. Application of three-stage sowing and different ripening varieties made it possible to obtain cowpea yields continuously in course of 30-34 days with the average yielding capacity of 6,3-16,7 t/ha. Application of 3-terms transplanting of sowing of the early-ripening Rant variety, mid-ripening Valya and Laurina varieties at the stage of 10 days seedlings made it possible to obtain yields (9,0-11,8 t/ha) in course of one month since the first decade of July. Combined application of different sowing terms and transplanting of various ripening seedling made it possible to obtain constant yields in course of 61-64 days since the first decade of July till the first decade of September
