English. A. gossypii is one of the insects having more incidences in organoponic systems. In order to know the ability of L. testaceipes as a natural control of this aphid in eggplant, both populations density was studied under organoponic conditions. It was determined that the spatial pattern of both is aggregated. L. testaceipes populations are in lower levels than those of A. gossypii in the whole cycle of cultivation. That is why, some measures such as monitoring and conservation are suggested to increase the natural effectiveness of this endoparasitoid.

Con el objetivo de conocer la habilidad de L. testaceipes como control natural de este áfido en berenjena se estudió la densidad de ambas poblaciones en condiciones de organopónico. Se determinó que el patrón espacial de ambos es agregado. Las poblaciones de L. testaceipes se encontraron en niveles más bajos que las de A. gossypii en todo el ciclo del cultivo; por lo que se sugieren algunas medidas para aumentar la efectividad natural de este endoparasitoide, tales como monitoreo y conservación.
