Economical study of maize production cost in Egypt

Maize is one of the main summer crops in Egypt and corn has an alternative use as it mixed with wheat flour to produce bread, although, Egypt coming up as one of the first countries in productivity, but the Area harvesting of that crop become up almost fixed amount of feedan. So, this study had performed to recognize how its production economics facts using secondary data of Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and FAO data collection. The analytical processes calculate to fetch out that the fixed farm price decline. The return and net return had corrupted and the total cost which treated with cost index number is coming up. So, government must be careful of productivity improvement programs as so as farm price fixing to be suitable with another crop prices in rotation.
