This article analyzes the competitiveness of Vietnam's agricultural products in relation with the fact that Vietnam became member of the World Trade Organization in 2006. The main obstacles to the development of exports from Vietnam are high costs, low productivity and low quality of the products. Agricultural production and processing plants are still outdated.
