SDS-PAGE profile of P. multocida A:1 strain OMP's obtained under three different conditions viz. nutrient rich free cells, nutrient deficient free cells and biofilm cells varied from each other suggesting that the BC are demonstrably and profoundly different from their free cell counterparts (NRFC and NDFC). The biofilm cells revealed unique proteins of 50.0, 46.0, 14.0, and 14.0 kDa, including 80.0, 36.0, 31.0 and 27.0 kDa common to both NDFC and BC.
