In order to study, compare and achieve new spring bread wheat cultivars with high yield comparing to widely grown varieties, comprising resistance to diseases, lodging, shuttering and also to determine valuable plant genetic resources received from International centers to be used in crossing blocks and as active introduction, this research project including the following four nurseries were implemented in 2005-2006 crop season. A-Replicated Trials: l-ESWYT 2-EBWYT B-Observation nurseries: 1-IBWSN 2-ISWSN In all replicated trials' grain yield of each entry was weighed separately. Combined variance analysis was implemented on the collected data based on statistical rules. High yielding Lines / Varieties, were selected for advance trials of next year. Plot size in replicated and observation nurseries was 3.6 m2 and 1.2 m2 respectively. Evaluation of Lines / Varieties in observation nurseries with no replication as they were carried out in some locations, was done and calculation of results was based on Rank method and each location was assumed as one replication. Finally based on Rank method, comparing the yield of entries with checks and considering favorite morphological characters 6, 6, 15 and 11 superior lines/varieties were selected from ESWYT , EBWYT, IBWSN and ISWSN trials respectively . and superior genotypes forwarded to in PR WYT in 2006¬2007 crop season.
