Buffalo breeding is important in agriculture economy in East Azarbaijan . This project was executed for studying of breeding condition and preparing of lactation curve and analysis of buffalo milk compositions. The climate of east Azarbaijan province was divided to cold ,hot and temperate region. 26 village, 17 village and 30 village were randomly selected from each region respectively. For selection of buffalo 1-3 farmers were selected from each village. Total number of selected information was prepared for recording of the data. After calving of buffaloes, daily milk production was recorded for using in lactation curve. Milk sampling accomplished in different intervals in four years and fat, protein, Lactose ,TSand SNF percentages was measured in the lab.The mean of daily milk production was 5.16±2.34 kg in this province. The highest production during sampling years concerned to hot region(Sarab, Hashtrood, Bostanabad, Kaleibar) with mean of 4.23 ±2.05 kg . Between the cities the highest mean of milk production was related to bonab, malekan and marageh with% 6.45 and the lowest production was in kaleibar with %3.47. There were significant differences among regions of province in milk production and fat percentage (p𕟨.01). Between the regions protein had significant difference(p𕟨.05). The highest milk production in two, four, six calvings were kg respectively. The lowest milk production was in the first calving with kg . Mean and standard deviation of fat , protein, Lactose,TS, SNF percentages in this province were7.29± 1.65, 4.35± 1.16, 5.14± 0.60, 17.64± 2.34, 10.06±0.85 respectively. Between calvings, there were significant difference (p𕟨.01). Mean of lactation period in East Azarbaijan buffalo through four years was 210-300 days. Farmers were asked about keeping, health, nutrition and repruductive systems of buffaloes. The results show that all of the farmers use the handy method for feeding of the buffaloes. All of the buffalo breeding farms were not healthy. Prognancy period of buffalo were 330 days and age of first fertilization and prognancy was the end of years. Distance of two calvings was 18.67 months(560 days).
