Investigation of selected clone obtained of true potato mutants seed.

In order to evaluated single plants selected from an investigation of segregated potato population derived from open pollination of potato mutant. Tubers were planted with 75 ƒx 25 density. During growing season facters like number of plant, leaf shape, flesh color. Life shape, skin color, fresh color and tubers shape were evaluated. Fertilizer were used on the base of soil test. The results indicated 87 clones have yellow skin. The number of clones for pink skin, red skin and fairly red skin were 3, 25 and 49 respectively. Tuber shapes evaluation showed 113 clones with ovule shape and 51 clones were round. The number of clones for yellow flesh, dark yellow, fairly yellow and white were 73, 27, 39 and 25 respectively. The results of leaf shape indicated 83, 17 and 64 clones had flat leaves, small and middle leaves respectively. Eye depth was shallow and stolen length was short for all of clones. The clones with white flesh color were eliminated and the rest of clones were chosen for next evaluation.
