Introduction of exotic germplasm is one of the breeding methods to select the good performing lines and release those as new varieties . These materials are evaluated every year and adapted varieties with new condition are selected in this survey. International network for Genetic evaluation of Rice (INGER) that is conducting yearly by IRRI1 in so many countries. This program is conducted also in IRAN. IRAN receives regularly the seed sets of rice varieties. One of these sets is namely IIRON2 that was sent to IRAN last year Including 112 lines with 5 checks (3 international checks like IR50, IR72 and PSB-RC-2 and 2 local checks namely Khazar and Hashemi. These lines were evaluated in a augmented experiment with complete block design for checks in 5 replications. Some traits were measured such as plant height (cm), number of tillers, number of days to 50% flowering, grain yield (kg/ha), pained length(cm),Amylose content, Gelatinization temperature and Gel consistency.ANOVA for checks showed that effect of blocks were not significant after mean comparison the treatments with local checks (Kazar and Hashemi) were selected 15 superior lines with high yield and proper cooking quality. The best yield were related to WAB165 and IR59547-233-3-3 with good cooking quality
