In order to study the genetic, combining ability and gene action for yield, yield components, some morphological traits and fiber quality traits, six cotton parent were crossed in half-diallel crossing system in year 2005. Six parent with 15 hybrids(totally 21 genotypes) were studied in randomized complete block design(RCBD) with three replication at salty farm around Bandar torkaman city during (2006). Some agronomic traits, including yeild, some of the yeild components and some fiber quality traits were evaluated. Analysis of variance and mean comparison indicated significance differences among genotypes for most traits. Based on mean comparison Bulgar539×N:200 was superior hybrid for salty soil condition.Combining ability analysis showed that the additive variances were effective on plant height, stem diameter, number and lengths of monopodial branches and dry and wet of weight leaf, and non additive gene action may important for the boll weight and yeild, and additive and non additive gene action may important for the boll number, earliness, lint length, fiber strength, lint homogeneity, lint elongation and micronair index. Estimates of the genetically parameters according to Hayman-Jinks method supported.
