This article describes the present status of production management of processed vegetables in Vietnam, especially concerning the measures for pesticide control. In Dalat Highland, vegetables processed for export to Japan are controlled completely by a factory from farm to market, under contract. In particular, agricultural experts in the factory play significant roles in visiting contract farmers to provide technical advice on crop cultivation, pesticide application, and quality control.
