The Consumer's Preference on Packaging of Fruits and the Implications

This study aims to present improvements that can raise the consumers' satisfaction at a packaging process of fruits. The data used for the analysis is based on the results of on-line and telephone survey on the housewives of big cities. As a result, it is estimated that the ratio of purchase by a piece or small packing size was higher at a small family size. And there were no differences by age and income level of the household. Also, it is necessary that sugar content of the fruit be marked on the box.
