In order to improve mass rearing methods of hornfaced bee, Osmia spp., in field, a series of studies were conducted in apple orchard and deserted farmhouses in mountainous areas. Using 1,000 bamboo tubes trap released with 1,000 individuals of O. cornifrons was the most effective. This result shows using hornfaced bee, O. cornifrons, directly to increase the multiplication rate in field condition is more effective than other method not using it. Even though all bamboo tube traps with holes on both sides were set in same condition, only 35% in O. cornifrons and 25% in O. pedicornis nested in the holes on both sides. General type of nesting house is lower in efficacy of nesting rate than dark type of nesting house covered with thick mat in apple orchard. But the result requires further examinations with various conditions.
