Functional eggs contain biologically active substances which positively influence human health, organism metabolism and prevent factors that cause different diseases. The aim of our investigations was to evaluate obtaining of functional egg by using layers feed that contains increased ω-6 and ω-3 unsaturated fatty acids content by investigations of optimum plant oils ω-6 and ω-3 fatty acids ratio, fatty acids transfer level from unsaturated fatty acids content and ratio as well as to clear up production expenses. It was concluded that the best combination in layers feed is 1% sunflower seed oil and 1% linen seed oil. By using this oil composition ω-6 fatty acids transfer level from feed to egg was 45.35%, ω-3 fatty acids transfer level was 37.91%.
