English. In the article the results of grouping of farms according its total area and area of agriculture land is analysed. An object of research the Zemgale region, where territory and natural circumstances convenient for agriculture are, is chosen. Analysis of fragmentation of the farms in Zemgale region is performed.

Russian. В статье приведены результаты группировок хозяйств по общей площади землевладений и площади сельскохозяйственных угодий. Объектом исследований выбран Земгальский регион, территория и природные условия которого особенно приспособлены для ведения сельского хозяйства. Проведен анализ чересполосицы (раздробленности) землевладений региона.
