The paper presents the results of the macroscopical investigations in mammary neoplasia, correlated with biological performances of the animal, in order to establish the disease evolution and the therapeutic method. The analysed parameters took into account the localization, diameter, contour, mobility and firmness of the tumour. The investigations have emphasized the predominance of the tumour localization in the inguinal unit. The single or multiple tumours had the dimensions ranging between 0,5-15 cm, sometimes forming compact confluent masses. Tumour contour and the mobility appear modified in relation with the evolutive type, the firmness being low, in the case of the cystic type, or high in the benign evolutions with heterotopical ossification. The same macroscopical parameters were analysed also at the level of accessory axillary and superficial inguinal lymphocenters. The obtained results allowed the classification of all the tumours, solitary or synergic from each case in the T.N.M. system. The correlation of T.N.M. aspects with the general physical parameters allowed us to sort out the oncological casuistry in 6 clinical evolutive stages. This classification is useful to the surgeon to choose the proper anaesthesic and therapeutic method.
