Aqueous extracts of various plants viz: seem, onion, tobacco, red chili, aloevera, garlic and cloves were applied as drenching in pots against root knot nematodes infested tomato plants. Among all the plant extracts tested neem proved effective in increasing the plant vigor and reducing number of galling index and number of egg masses followed by onion, tobacco and chili.
