The aim of researches was to estimate the influence of pigs breeding on environment. Researches show that the breeding of swine flock affects environment negatively through emission of harmful gas from buildings, unpleasant odour and dust. Low concentration of animals in Poland contaminates environment to small degree apart from local operation of big farms. During production of pig meat on big scale farmers should use the best available techniques precluding pollution of environment
