Semen quality of young crosbreed boars depending on RYR1 genotype

The results of the study cinfirmed higher content meat in carcass of the boars with RYR1T genotpye. Regarding traits of semen it was not found out the statistical significant differences between compared genotypes. Despite of some tendency to better traits value of RYR1TC boars it was not proved univocally that the specified genotypes (RYR1TT, RYR1TC and RYR1CC) affected on semen values of the traits. The worst quality of semen of RYR1TT boars genotype are suggested to use for crosbreed boars production the sows free from RYR1T gene
