In the carried out experiment the growth and flowering of selected cultivars of ornamental apple trees grafted on three vegetative rootstocks: M9, M26, MM106 were estimated. The rootstocks used significantly differentiated results for the following characteristics of ornamental apple trees: the sum of long-shoots length, the number of flowers and roots and the thickness of trunk. They did not affect the length of main shoot and the number of dwarf-shoots
