This paper explores the possibilities to use high-oil corn hybrids as primary raw commodity in wet milling. High-oil corn hybrids had lower 1000 kernel mass and densities as compared to standard corn hybrids. The samples had acceptable and good starch quality as well as yield, that was positively correlated to the starch content in kernel unlike starch utilization which did not show satisfactory correlation to the kernel starch content. The results proved that the investigated corn samples could be successfully and rationally used as a raw material within the integral concept of starch-oil processing of corn.
