Meat and meat products are key elements in our nutrition. The way contemporary consumer accepts meat and meat products today, differs comparing to previous period. The way we choose meat products is in accordance with today lifestyle that focuses on economy and healthy life\\nutrition. Producers of meat and meat products have to constantly bear in mind consumer demands. Changes of trends in contemporary nutrition has to be accepted by the producers of food ingredients as well, since modern technology of food including meat technology simply is not possible without additives.
