In this paper, a reverse-rotation tiller was analysed. Its tines rotate reverse to drive wheels of the hitched tractor. Variations in cutting speed and cutting path length were calculated based on the following data measured in-field: operating speed, rotor speed, rotor diameter, number of tines and tilling depth. Also determined was the time interval between entrance and egress of tines from the soil as well as the angle between the cutting speed vector and the horizontal reference at the beginning and end of cutting. Equations were solved using Scientific Work Place software.
