Presented in this paper is experimental investigation of efficiency of various detasseling methods in seed corn production. Investigation was conducted under conditions which were characteristic of the Vojvodina Province (Serbia) during production year 2008. The tests were performed on three different hybrids, while the subject of comparison were the results of manual detasseling and mechanized detasseling with manual corrections. Subject to analysis were production conditions, effects of detasseling by various method, productivity and seed corn grain yield.
