The composition of essential oils as commercial products was investigated. The antimicrobial activity and the minimum inhibiting concentration, necessary to prevent development of pathogenic bacterias, especially Salmonella were also investigated. The results of examinations showed that essential oils are of excellent quality. Optimal doses of essential oils which could be suggested for feed industry, as alternative of growth promotors, were determined (35 g/t) at aim sustainable feed production.
