In this paper, Longevity module which has been developed recently on the web portal Govedo (http://www.govedo.si) is presented. A detailed description of longevity and lifetime production with seven different parameters (survival rate, productive days, calving number, lifetime milk production, lifetime fat production, lifetime protein production, and lifetime milk yield per productive day) is available for breeders and agricultural advisors. The calculation of parameters is obtained for each year after the first calving, which enables comparison between groups of cows which had first calving in different years on the farm basis or on the basis of entire Slovenia. Altogether 98,616 dairy cows which had first calving from 1.1.2003 to 31.12.2007 were included in the survival, lifetime milk production and calving number analysis. The survival rates for dairy cows of different breeds from Slovenian dairy farms which had their first calving in 2003 were 34.7, 31.6, 31.2, and 26.4% for Brown (RJ), Simmental crossbreed with red Holstein or Montbeliard (LSX), Simmental (LS), and Holstein breed (CB), respectively. The average lifetime milk productions in five years time after the first calving in 2003 were 18,188, 15,265, 17,078, and 22,241kg for LSX, LS, RJ, and CB breed, respectively. At the same time, LSX, LS, RJ, and CB breed had 3.38, 3.30, 3.26, and 3.14 calving on average, respectively. Fertility problems were the main reason for dairy cow culling. Out of 40.924 culled cows, 28.5% cows were culled for that reason.
