The contamination of animal feedingstuffs with some mycotoxins was investigated in the period from the year 2002 to the year 2006 in Slovenia. 723 samples were tested on aflatoxin B1, 244 samples on ochratoxin A and 420 samples on zearalenone. The determination of mycotoxins was done by in-house validated analytical methods consisting of immunoaffinity clean-up and liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. In the case of aflatoxin B1, postcolumn bromination was used. Aflatoxins were found in 16.3 %, zearalenone in 42.1 % and ochratoxin A in 5.7 % of examined samples. The average contamination level of aflatoxin B1 was 1.01 ug/kg, of ochratoxin A 46 ug/kg and of zearalenone 178 ug/kg.
