Objectives of this research were to study the effect of seed inoculation with Rhizobium and different amended soil. The investigation were made separately in 2 soil conditions, without (pH 4.58) and with the application of lime (pH 5.50) on biomass of Sesbania rostrata, Vigna unguiculata and Canavalia ensiformis. The soil used in this experiment was Ptl series. The experiment was a split plot in RCBD with 2 seed inoculations, without and with Rhizobium used as main plot and 3 different amended soilsunamended, fertilizer (12-24-12) and rock phosphate used as sub plot. Studies on the N-mineralization under submerged condition were also carried out for each legume species. The experiment design was CRD with 4 rates dry matter i.e. 0, 500, 1,000 and 1,500 kg/rai. The results showed that raising of soil pH from 4.58 to 5.50 could improve average dry biomass yield of S. rostrata, V. unguiculata and C. ensiformis up to 21, 30 and 25 percent respectively. In addition, the amount of N-accumulation was found in correlation with the amount of dry matter R**(2) = 0.8545**, 0.8952** and 0.9747** respectively. However, the effect of inoculation with Rhizobium had no effect on legume dry weight, whereas amended soil with 12-24-12 fertilizer gave the highest results. N-mineralization was increased according to the increase of biomass. Similarly, S. rostrata, V. urguiculata and C. ensiformis (1,500 kg/rai) at 35 days after incubation could provided highest average NH4+-N of 27.95, 24.36 and 24.20 mg N/ kg soil respectively.
