Study on effects of fertilizer types on growth and yield of sweet corn cv. Wanthong 2 in organic farming systems was conducted at Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. Four different kinds of organic fertilizers namely fermented chicken manure, fermented cow manure, grass compost and rice straw compost were used at a rate of 170 kg N./ha in order to compared with chemical fertilizer (conventional method). The results showed that fermented chicken manure was the best fertilizer. It gave the highest unhusked yield, husked yield and standard unhusked yield, 2280, 1689, and 2180 kg/rai respectively. Moreover, chicken manure also gave other good characteristics, such as the highest percent of yielded plant, the biggest ear size, number of kernel row/ear and plant height. In contrast, cow manure gave the lowest yield.
