Purpose of this study was to provide guidelines on utilization of Euglena sanguinea, a common phytoplankton blooming in commercial fish ponds. Carotenoids content analysis was done three methodsFoss et al. (1984), KMUTT (2001) and Sommer (1992). Results showed that E. sanguinea had average carotenoid content of 0.5497+0.0044, 3.5906+0.5147 and 4.0603+1.0308 mg/g cell dry weight, respectively. The information obtained will be useful in providing basic information about the carotenoids content of E. sanguinea and its potential use in aquaculture.
